Painting Stucco
|
| |
I am a life long resident of the Pacific Northwest, but also reside, part time, in the desert SW. In the PNW, stucco is rarely used because it gets wet, remains wet and falls apart. Down here, it's by far the most commonly used material for exteriors. It's cheap and it works. Now, I share the... más »

Steam mop?
|
| |
I guess this is more home maintenance than repair, but I thought probably some of you have experience in this realm. I've been trying out steam mops, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm expecting too much or just getting a bad luck of the draw. Craftsman electric chain saw seized up...what to do?

Long story short We were told by our home insurance and home inspection people that in Ontario (Canada), there are no concerns with inspected copper wired fuse boxes until they reach 50 years. So we are not rushing to replace this box. However I wanted to install GFI receptacles for outside,... más »

What is the purpose of the "lockout timer" in a home heater/ac system?
|
| |
What does the lockout timer do on a 20-year-old Payne home gas-fired heating/ac burner? The technician came to see why the heat kept shutting off the pilot flame and he took the "lockout timer" with him after testing. This black plastic box had wires attached to it which he wired to the furnace with jumpers.... más »

O.T. WebTV
|
| |
Does *anybody* know for sure if this entity is still doing business? I realize that it became MSN TV but I've done a search and the only live links are to references from 2007. I just want a firm yes or no so that I know if I can sell my FIL's unit. It's 4 yrs old, having bought it just before he... más »
