  i took up an offer to bundle DSL , landline and wireless onto one bill. &lt;br&gt; Verizon said i will get unlimited calling from LANDLINE to CELL and vice &lt;br&gt; versia. How is this determined ??? is it thru the CID ??? i had this &lt;br&gt; crazy wishful thinking if i forwarded incoming calls from the land line &lt;br&gt; they would be unlimited to the cell phone thinking the call would only

  Now that I think of it last year there were huge areas where Verizon &lt;br&gt; data did not work on my Verizon phone in Alabama (I-65) (I-20) and &lt;br&gt; Georgia/Tennessee/ Kentucky (I-75) along the interstate. &lt;br&gt; I got some kind of Verizon message that data was not available even if &lt;br&gt; I could make a phone call. It was real bad down around Mobile AL.

  That&#39;s not true. If you stay in a hotel or motel in rural America, &lt;br&gt; you&#39;re very likely to have WiFi, but not 3G data (and any data you do &lt;br&gt; have will likely be slow data on a rural carrier, that you can&#39;t use). &lt;br&gt; Often the WiFi is via satellite, so it&#39;s not super high speed, and &lt;br&gt; there&#39;s a lot of latency, but it works okay.

  They do not have McDonalds? &lt;br&gt; McDonald&#39;s back end data system is AT&amp;amp;T which is why iPhone (and AT&amp;amp;T &lt;br&gt; BB) users now get free wifi while visiting any Micky Dee. All others &lt;br&gt; pay $10 per hour if even allowed on the net.

  yeah - the VZ marketing folks probably made that happen... &lt;br&gt; to &amp;quot;capture&amp;quot; the user and make them only use the VZ network. &lt;br&gt; Sorta like GM &amp;amp; Ford marketing saying - &lt;br&gt; why would you want anything besides a full size truck ? &lt;br&gt; We don&#39;t need to make anything else.... like smaller fuel effcient &amp;amp; hybrid &lt;br&gt; cars :)
